Josef Křeček has completed his PhD at the age of 26 years from the Czech Technical University in Prague. He participated in several international projects and leaded for 22 years the Earthwatch project on water resources control in North Bohemia (Czech Republic). He has published more than 150 papers, and has been serving as an editorial board member of several academic journals.
