Junior Cesar Avanzi has been an associate professor at the Federal University of Lavras (UFLA, Brazil) since 2016, where he works in undergraduate courses and the graduate programs in Soil Science, and Environmental Technologies and Innovations. He runs the YouTube and Instagram channels “Entusiastas do Solo,” dedicated to the promotion of Soil Science. He holds a degree in Agricultural Engineering from UFLA (2003), and a Ph.D. in Soil Science from UFLA (2009), with a research internship at Purdue University / National Soil Erosion Research Laboratory, USA (2008-2009). He is currently involved in projects in various regions of Brazil and Africa.
