Dr. Maciej Dzikuć, DSc, PhD, Eng., is an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Energy Transformation at the University of Zielona Góra, Poland, a position he has held since 2003. He is a distinguished scholar with extensive expertise in energy transformation, sustainable development, and environmental economics.

Dr. Dzikuć earned his Doctor of Science (DSc) degree from the Institute of Economics and Finance at SGH Warsaw School of Economics. He holds a PhD in Economics from Wrocław University of Economics, completed within the Faculty of Engineering and Economics. He also pursued Industrial Engineering studies at Brandenburg Technical University of Cottbus under the Erasmus-Socrates Scholarship program. Earlier, he obtained a Master’s degree in Environmental Management and Public Economy from the University of Zielona Góra.

His research focuses on sustainable development, energy efficiency, renewable energy, energy policy, and environmental economics. Through his academic leadership and research contributions, Dr. Dzikuć has played a significant role in advancing interdisciplinary approaches to energy transformation and sustainable economic development.
