Yusuf Ozkan received his PhD in Electrical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), where he was a member of the Center for Wireless Information Processing (CWiP). His research interests include wireless communications, information theory, coding theory, and machine learning. His work focuses on reinforcement learningassisted low-density parity-check (LDPC) decoding, parallel processing architectures, and intelligent communication algorithms for next-generation communication systems.
Dr. Ozkan serves as the 2026 IEEE Region 1 Student Professional Activities Coordinator(S-PAC) and as Graduate Chair of the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society (AP-S) Student Branch Chapter at NJIT. He supports technical programs, student engagement, and leadership development through IEEE activities
