Chenchen Xu received her Ph.D. degree from the Department of Geography, Ghent University, Belgium. She is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Economics, Management and Business Law, University of Bari Aldo Moro, Italy. Her research interests include machine learning, natural language processing, transport emergency management, shared mobility, travel behavior modeling, urban and regional transport planning, and sustainable mobility policy. She has participated in several international and national research projects and has published more than 20 academic papers in related fields, including high-level journals such as Transportation Research Part A: Policy and Practice, Research in Transportation Business & Management, Safety Science, and Journal of Air Transport Management. She also has experience in academic reviewing, international collaboration, and student supervision.
