Dr. Li has completed his PhD at Central South University and postdoctoral studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and the University of Georgia. He is an Assistant Professor and Director of the Precision Agriculture and Intelligent Robotics Laboratory at the University of Idaho, USA. Before that, he was a Research Associate Professor at Missouri S&T and the Director of Engineering at Hitron Technologies Inc., USA. He has published more than 68 papers in reputed journals and 1 US Patent, and has been serving as a committee member for the ASABE Agricultural Robotics Challenge and Chair of Precision Agriculture and AI sessions at the American Society of Agronomy (ASA).
