Dr. Tao “Eric” Hu is an Associate Professor of Information Systems (IS) in Department of Systems and Operations Management (SOM) of David Nazarian College of Business and Economics, California State University – Northridge (CSUN). He teaches courses such as IS analysis and design, data analytics, and recently business Artificial Intelligence (AI) for undergraduate and graduate programs. Dr. Hu’s research focuses on social media innovations, data analytics, IS cross-cultures, and AI applications. Dr. Hu has published studies in leading IS journals such as European Journal of Information Systems, Information & Management, Decision Support Systems, Communications of AIS, ACM Transactions on Software Engineering and Methodology, Journal of Computer Information Systems, Journal of Electronic Commerce Research, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Information Systems Education, among others. Meanwhile, Dr. Hu serves active professional roles in many IS journals and conferences.
