Yiwei Weng received his Dual Bachelor’s Degrees (2014) in Material Science Engineering and Financial Engineering from the University of Science and Technology Beijing, Master’s degree (2015) in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Nanyang Technological University (NTU). He received his Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from NTU in 2020. Before joining the Department of Building and Real Estate as an Assistant Professor in 2021, he was a research fellow at the NTU (2020-2021). His research focuses on digital construction, specializing in additive manufacturing, construction materials, and robotics for building and construction.
