Dr. Ephraim Suhir is a globally recognized expert in mechanical reliability engineering and applied mechanics, with over 500 publications in electronic and photonic systems design. He serves as Research Professor at Portland State University and Research Affiliate at UCLA B. John Garrick Institute for the Risk Sciences. A pioneer in analytical modeling and probabilistic design for reliability, Dr. Suhir established the discipline of structural analysis of electronic and photonic systems. His work has significantly influenced modern engineering practices in microelectronics, photonics, and materials science. He is a Life Fellow of IEEE and ASME, and recipient of numerous prestigious awards, including the ASME Worcester Reed Warner Medal.
