Abha Meena is a Senior Principal Scientist at the CSIR-Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, Lucknow, and a Professor at the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research. She has nearly two decades of experience in biotechnology and pharmacology, with a research focus on molecular bioprospection and cancer pharmacology.
She completed her B.Tech from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, M.Tech from Anna University, and Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the University of Cambridge under the Cambridge Commonwealth Trust Scholarship. She also completed a postdoctoral fellowship at King’s College London. Meena leads research on plant-derived compounds for cancer treatment, focusing on molecular interactions and drug discovery. She has published over 100 research papers and received several recognitions, including honors from ACS Publications.
