Prof. Shraga Shoval is a Full Professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management and Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Ariel University, Israel. He received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, and his Ph.D. from the University of Michigan in 1994, where he focused on sensor-based navigation aids for the visually impaired. He has held research positions at CSIRO, Australia, and has extensive expertise in robotics, autonomous systems, computer-integrated manufacturing, and navigation technologies. Prof. Shoval established the first robotics laboratory at Ariel University, has published over 150 papers, and holds several patents in robotics and intelligent systems.
