Stephen K. Smith is an internationally renowned clinician-scientist and Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Imperial College London, United Kingdom. He is also associated with MirZyme Therapeutics Ltd., Birmingham, United Kingdom, where he continues to advance translational research in vascular biology and women’s health.
Professor Smith is a pioneer in reproductive medicine, obstetrics, placental biology, and angiogenesis. His research has significantly advanced the understanding of the molecular mechanisms underlying pregnancy complications, particularly preeclampsia, implantation, and placental vascular development.
