Mohamed Solayman is Associate Professor and Head of Clinical Pharmacy Department at the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biotechnology, German University in Cairo. He earned his PhD through a joint program with the School of Pharmacy at the University of Florida, Gainesville, FL, USA. With cumulative academic experience of 18 years, Dr Solayman has taught and trained thousands of undergraduate and postgraduate students on clinical sciences, including health economic-related topics, and is a board member in a number of educational programs that involve pharmacoeconomics. Moreover, Dr Solayman is a consultant for a couple of regulatory authority health economics scientific committees. He has also actively participated in national and international conferences, as ISPOR meetings, with posters and oral presentations and was nominated for a couple of awards in such meetings. He has original research and systematic review publications in peer-reviewed journals, and serves as a reviewer in a couple of scientific journals and in the abstract review committee of ISPOR.
