Honghua Zhao is an Associate Professor and Ph.D. supervisor at the School of Mechanics and Aerospace Engineering, Department of Engineering Mechanics, Dalian University of Technology, Dalian, China. She is affiliated with the State Key Laboratory of Structural Analysis Optimization for Industrial Equipment and CAE Software. Her research interests focus on engineering mechanics, structural analysis, optimization methods, computational mechanics, and computer-aided engineering (CAE) technologies. Dr. Zhao has been actively involved in research related to structural performance evaluation, strain prediction, and numerical simulation of complex engineering systems. She has contributed to academic research and the development of advanced methodologies in mechanics and aerospace engineering, while also mentoring postgraduate students and supporting innovation in structural analysis and optimization.
