William W. Yu received his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Institute of Chemistry at the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is currently a professor at Shandong University, where he leads research in the field of nanomaterials and optoelectronic devices. His primary research interests include quantum dots, solar cells, light-emitting diodes (LEDs), flexible electronics, and electrochromic materials. Over the years, Dr. Yu has made significant contributions to the synthesis and application of semiconductor nanocrystals, particularly in enhancing the performance and stability of quantum dot-based devices. His work bridges fundamental materials science and practical device engineering, aiming to develop next-generation technologies for sustainable energy and advanced display systems.
