Prof. Jin is a Professor at Lanzhou University. He received his Ph.D. and M.D. from the Fourth Military Medical University, where he was trained under the supervision of Professor Gong Ju, a renowned neurobiologist and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. In 2006, he joined the Institute of Neurosciences at Shanghai Jiao Tong University as an Associate Professor. In 2021, he was recruited to Lanzhou University. His laboratory focuses on the molecular mechanisms of axon regeneration, tumor epigenetics, and cancer neuroscience. As Principal Investigator, Prof. Jin has been awarded four grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China in the past five years. He has published over 200 peer-reviewed articles in high-impact journals including Cell, Nature Communications, Trends in Pharmacological Sciences, Cancer Research, Cell Death and Differentiation, Biomaterials, Protein & Cell, Pharmacology & Therapeutics, and Trends in Cancer. He serves on the editorial boards of Advanced Biology and Technology in Cancer Research & Treatment, and is a review expert for journals such as Nature Biotechnology, Biomaterials, Molecular Therapy, and Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy. Prof. Jin is also a committee member of the China Anti-Cancer Association and the Chinese Neuroscience Society.
