Michelle Kuroda has been a researcher at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) since 2016 and is affiliated with the Center for Petroleum and Energy Studies (CEPETRO). She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics (2007) and a Master’s and PhD in Geosciences from UNICAMP, completed in 2012 and 2016, respectively. Her academic background integrates mathematics and geosciences, with extensive experience in Applied Geophysics. Her research is primarily focused on the development and application of machine learning methodologies for reservoir characterization and modeling, bridging data-driven approaches and geophysical interpretation.
