Yung-Kang Shen is a Professor at the School of Dental Technology, Taipei Medical University (TMU) and a member of the TMU Research Center of Biomedical Devices. He holds a Ph.D. in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering from National Taiwan University. Prof. Shen has extensive academic and research experience spanning mechanical engineering, industrial design, and dental technology. His research interests include advanced medical polymers, tissue engineering, micro/nano-technology, computer-aided manufacturing, and opto-electronic modules. He has published extensively in international journals and has received multiple academic awards, including a Most Cited Article Award in precision engineering.
