Dr. Y. Aggarwal is an Assistant Professor at Birla Institute of Technology (BIT), Mesra, with extensive experience in teaching, research, and academic administration. His research focuses on biomedical modeling, medical informatics, and biosignal analysis, particularly heart rate variability and AI-based medical diagnostics. He has guided several PhD scholars, published widely in reputed journals, and contributed to funded research projects in areas such as neurodegeneration, cardiovascular health, and brain–computer interfaces. He has also served in key roles including Associate Dean (Student Activities) and Hostel Superintendent.
