Dr. Siwei Lou received the B.Eng. degree in automation and the M.Sc. degree in control science and engineering from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Automation, Zhejiang Sci-Tech University, Hangzhou, China, in 2018 and 2021, respectively, and received the Ph.D. degree in control science and engineering with the State Key Laboratory of Industrial Control Technology from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China, in 2025. Now, he is a Assistant Research Fellow at the State Key Laboratory of Industrial Control Technology, Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China.
Over the years, Dr. Lou specializes in the integration of sensor data-based statistical learning and deep learning for industrial process monitoring and fault diagnosis. His research emphasizes data-mechanism fusion, nonlinear temporal correlation analysis, and hybrid-driven modeling to enhance process reliability and efficiency. With 51 SCI journal papers (including IEEE Transactions and IFAC journals), 900+ citations, and an h-index of 19, his work bridges theoretical innovation and industrial applications.
Dr. Lou serves as a reviewer for 10+ SCI journals and has contributed to multiple national/key projects. His interests include in AI-enabled industrial data analytics, signal processing, automation control, and smart manufacturing.
