Gracienhe Gomes dos Santos is a Brazilian biologist and aquaculture researcher specializing in aquatic animal health, fish parasitology, aquaculture biotechnology, fish immunology, microbiology, and sustainable aquaculture production. She earned her Ph.D. in Aquaculture from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), where her research focused on the application of copper and silver nanoparticles for controlling fish parasites and improving fish health. She is currently conducting postdoctoral research in biotechnology applied to aquaculture at the Instituto Federal Catarinense. Her research interests include fish disease management, antiparasitic therapies, nanotechnology in aquaculture, hematology, and immunological responses of aquatic organisms. She has authored numerous scientific publications and actively contributes to advancing sustainable aquaculture practices.
