Rodney T. Muringai, is a climate change and food security specialist with over five years’ research and academic experience. He led interdisciplinary projects across Southern Africa. His expertise spans climate resilience, sustainable livelihoods, biodiversity conservation, and natural resource management, focused on aquatic systems in Sub-Saharan Africa. He has published in peer-reviewed journals and guest-edited Frontiers in Food Systems, overseeing research on enhancing climate resilience in fisheries. He has collaborated with international researchers on projects. Recognised for academic excellence and leadership, he has received accolades, including the LIMA Rural Development Foundation Award and induction into the Golden Key International Honour Society.
