Mujeeb Ur Rehman is an Associate Professor (Research & Innovation) at De Montfort University, UK, with more than 12 years of teaching and research experience. His research expertise includes Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Quantum Computing and Post-Quantum Cryptography. He has published over 70 research papers in leading international journals and conferences and has successfully led and contributed to internationally funded research projects, securing over £1.8 million in competitive research funding.
Dr Rehman is recognised in the Stanford/Elsevier World’s Top 2% Scientists (2025), is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA), Senior Member of IEEE, and Professional Member of BCS. In 2022, he was endorsed as a Global Talent in Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity by the Royal Academy of Engineering, UK. He is also a member of the UKRI Talent Peer Review College and the NIHR peer review community, contributing to the assessment of research funding applications.
