Solveig Hofvind is a Norwegian researcher and academic specializing in cancer screening, epidemiology, and public health. She is affiliated with the The Cancer Registry of Norway, Department of Screening Programs, under the Norwegian Institute of Public Health in Oslo, Norway, and also with the Department of Health and Care Sciences, Faculty of Health Sciences, UiT The Arctic University of Norway in Tromsø, Norway. Her research focuses mainly on breast cancer screening, mammography programs, screening effectiveness, quality assurance, and population-based cancer prevention strategies.
