Hua-Ping Wang is an Associate Professor at the School of Civil Engineering and Mechanics, Lanzhou University, China. She specializes in structural health monitoring, optical fiber sensing, and smart structures. She earned her Ph.D. from Dalian University of Technology and was a visiting scholar at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Her research focuses on accurate and stable monitoring using advanced optical fiber sensors and strain transfer theory. She has published over 60 papers, many of which are highly cited. Her work is widely recognized by leading experts in the field. Dr. Wang has led several national research projects and serves as a young academic member in IEEE, SPIE, and optics-related conferences.
