Juan Carlos Hernandez-Garcia is a research professor commissioned by SECIHTI in the University of Guanajuato (Mexico); he currently has the distinction of the National System of Researchers level 3. He is part of Telecommunications and Photonics CA: His research areas include optical fiber lasers in CW and pulsed regime (low and high power), pulses of complex dynamics, study of nonlinear Sagnac interferometer, photonic crystal fibers, supercontinuum generation study. He is technically responsible for research projects support by SECIHTI and the UG, and he has participated as PhD, master’s degree and undergraduate thesis director.
