Tao Dong is a professor and doctoral advisor at the Xi’an Jiaotong University School of Instrument Science and Technology. His research focuses on BioMEMS, micro/nano sensors, intelligent microsystems, and microscale heat and mass transfer. Before joining Xi’an Jiaotong University in 2023, he held a tenured professorship in Norway for more than 15 years. Professor Dong has published over 200 SCI-indexed papers, authored academic books with Elsevier and Springer Nature, and holds more than 30 patents. He has also been recognized among the world’s top 2% scientists for his contributions to biosensors and micro/nano technologies.
