Iseult Lynch received her PhD in 2000 from University College Dublin, undertoook postdoctoral research at Lund University, and is Chair Professor of Environental Sciences at the University of Birmingham. She is a Clarivate Highly Cited cross-field Researcher (2018, 2022), a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, and an Editorial Board member for Environmental Scienec & Technology and Environmental Science: Nano. She was awarded the RSC John Jeyes award for Environmental Chemistry in 2020 for her work on the environmental interactions of nanomaterials and the biomoelcule corona, and the 2021 Outstanding Science Award from the Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry.
