Stefan Lucian Toma is a full professor and PhD supervisor at the Faculty of Materials Science and Engineering, Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iași, Romania. He holds two master’s degrees in Data Analysis and Processing and Occupational Health and Safety. His research focuses on surface characterization (SEM, AFM, STM), thin film deposition, and technological process modeling. He has authored over 90 scientific papers, 5 books as first author, and holds 3 patents. He has received more than 35 international awards and has extensive experience in national and international research projects, serving as project leader and principal investigator.
