Xue AN is a Chinese researcher in post-harvest biotechnology and an associate professor advanced in post-harvest mechanical damage of fruits. She currently works at Anhui Agricultural University, affiliated with the Department of Agricultural Machinery in the College of Mechanical Engineering, where she supervises postgraduate and serves as a co-supervisor for PhD. She has expertise in the field of detecting biological and physicochemical multi-scale changes for the interaction between fruit and machinery during picking, packaging, and transportation, and has contributed to research on reducing damage loss and ensuring food safety of fresh fruits. Previously, she served as a researcher in the Precision Horticulture Engineering department at the Leibniz Institute of Agricultural Engineering and Bioeconomy in Germany, participated in several international organization conferences, and delivered speeches globally in the fields of fruit mechanical damage and food detection.
