Biography : 

Dr. Rajendra Prasad Singh is working as a Professor at the School of Civil Engineering, Southeast University (SEU), Nanjing, and SEU-Monash University Joint Graduate School, Suzhou, China. He joined the SEU in 2013 as faculty member and promoted to Professor in 2018. He is a Deputy-director of the SEU-Monash Joint Research Centre for the Future Cities, Nanjing, China. He has received his doctoral degree in 2006 prior to join Wuhan University of Technology as a Post-doctoral fellow at School of Civil and Architecture, Wuhan, China in 2007 and SEU School of Civil Engineering in 2010. He is engaged in teaching various graduate courses Southeast University and SEU-Monash University Joint Graduate School, Suzhou, China. Currently he is actively engaged in research related to bioremediation, nanotechnology in bio-treatment, water and wastewater treatment, sustainable urban water management, sustainable pavement materials; ecological improvement for urban road and public space; real- time control of urban water supply and drainage systems; urban water ecosystem restoration; rural ecologicalprotection & restoration, and other environmental pollution related issues. He was the visiting fellow at School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Purdue University in year 2013. Prof. Singh has published over 160 research papers in leading SCI/JCR indexed international journals. He is a recipient of International Young Scientist Fellow Awards of National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) in2015 and 2017. Prof. Singh is a member of various academic and non- governmental organization e.g. American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Environmental & Water Resources Institute (EWRI), and International Water Association (IWA). Prof. Singh is also serving as Editor in Int. Journal of Innovative Trends in Multidisciplinary Research, Editorial board member in Water, Associate Editor in Frontiers of Environmental sciences, Journal of Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering, Review Editor in Frontiers in Microbiology and Frontiers in Bioenergy. He has also served as guest editor in highly reputed SCI/JCR indexed international journals e.g. BioresourceTechnology, International Biodeterioration & Biodegradation, International Journal of Water Resources Development, Water, Environmental Science &Pollution Research, and Applied Sciences. Prof. Singh was the Chair and organizer of ICWRS-ICAFEE 2018 conference held at Southeast University in Nanjing, China, Co-chair of following ICAFEE conference series, and served as Key-note Speaker or Invited speaker in various International conferences in China and abroad.
