Professor at the Silesian University of Technology in Poland. Member of the Environmental Protection and Waste Utilization Commission, the Polish Academy of Sciences, supervisor of Computer Analysis Engineer Laboratory, and auditor of Polish Centre for Accreditation. Research interests include waste management, waste recovery and recycling, conservation of natural resources, waste to energy, and circular economy. Published about 100 peer-reviewed papers in international journals and proceedings or bound volumes culminating from conferences and one monograph. Active reviewer of different peer-reviewed journals published by Elsevier, Springer, MDPI, Sage, etc. Current index H – 11 (according to Web of Knowledge and Scopus).
