Tiancheng Xu (born February 1993) is a Class C Distinguished Professor (tenured track, associate professor rank) and Master’s supervisor at Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine. He has been selected for the Young Talent Support Program of the China Association of Acupuncture and Moxibustion, the Jiangsu Provincial Young Science and Technology Talent Support Program, and the Class A Young Talent Support Program of the Key Laboratory of the Ministry of Education. He concurrently serves as a consultant for high-tech enterprises, an overseas doctoral supervisor, and a licensed medical practitioner. Holding a PhD in Acupuncture, Tuina and Rehabilitation, he has presided over 5 national and provincial research projects including the Youth Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and participated in 9 additional projects at or above the provincial level. He has published 139 papers in domestic and international journals and conference proceedings, including 90 as first or corresponding author, among which 18 are SCI-indexed with a total impact factor of 73.232. He was listed in the top 1% of highly cited scholars by CNKI in 2024 and the top 5% in 2025. He holds 31 authorized invention patents and software copyrights, with 11 additional applications under substantive examination.
