Professor Long is a pharmacist with research interest in medical regulatory affairs and health economics. He has previously worked as a clinical pharmacist with the Ministry of Health Malaysia. He was previously affiliated with UiTM, the University of Tasmania, and Universiti Brunei Darussalam. He is also an adjunct Professor of Faculty of Pharmacy Universitas Airlangga and Universiti Brunei Darussalam. With 14 years of academic, research, and industrial experience, Professor Long has successfully commercialized more than 10 pharmaceutical products and possesses regulatory insight regarding regulatory requirement in the region. He has been appointed as the International Advisory Board of SRM College of Pharmacy, SRM Institute of Science and Technology. He also previously served as Medical Consultant with two public listed companies. Professor Long has been recognised as the world top 2% of scientists for the last two consecutive years. Professor Long is interested in interdisciplinary research across the fields of medical, biological, and data sciences.
