Biography:

Dr. Kai-Uwe Lewandrowski, MD is an internationally recognized orthopedic spine surgeon, researcher, and educator specializing in advanced and minimally invasive spinal surgery. Born and raised in Berlin, Germany, he earned his medical degree from Humboldt University in Berlin and subsequently completed advanced clinical training in Germany and the Unite d States. He completed his orthopedic residency through the Harvard Combined Orthopaedic Residency Program and pursued a combined orthopedic and neurosurgical fellowship in spinal surgery at the Cleveland Clinic.

Dr. Lewandrowski currently practices at the Center for Advanced Spine Care of Southern Arizona in Tucson, Arizona, and is affiliated with the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Arizona and Banner Medical Center. His professional interests include minimally invasive spine surgery, endoscopic spinal procedures, personalized spine care, spinal disorders, and innovative surgical technologies.

A prolific academic contributor, Dr. Lewandrowski has authored numerous scientific publications and book chapters and has contributed to research on endoscopic spine surgery, spinal imaging, surgical techniques, and personalized approaches to spine care. He has also participated in international research and academic collaborations across the United States, Europe, Latin America, and other regions.
