Peng Geng is an Associate Professor at the School of Information Science and Technology, Shijiazhuang Tiedao University, China. Born on August 1, 1979, he has been actively engaged in teaching and research since 2001, progressing from Teaching Assistant to Lecturer and later to Associate Professor in 2011.

He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Education Technology from Hebei Normal University, a Master’s degree in Computer Applications Technology, and later completed his PhD in Civil Engineering at Shijiazhuang Tiedao University. He was also a Visiting Scholar at Beijing Normal University, where he conducted research in machine learning.

His research focuses on machine learning, image processing, medical image segmentation, and structural health monitoring and control. He has published numerous SCI-indexed journal papers, led and participated in several national and provincial research projects, and holds multiple Chinese patents related to image fusion, crack detection, and deep learning-based structural monitoring.
