Le Zhang is a faculty member at the School of Physics and Electronic Engineering, Jiangsu Normal University. He holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science from Nanjing Tech University and has conducted research at Georgia Institute of Technology and Bowling Green State University. His work focuses on optical and transparent ceramics, rare-earth fluorescent materials, and laser lighting. He has published extensively, delivered invited talks at major international conferences, and received several awards, including the 2023 Jiangsu Youth Optical Science and Technology Award. He also leads national research projects and serves on editorial boards of multiple scientific journals.
