Biography :
Graduated in Biological Sciences Full BA from the Federal University of Uberlândia (1998), degree in Biological Sciences Bachelor from the Federal University of Uberlândia (1999), Master’s degree in Immunology and Applied Parasitology from the Federal University of Uberlândia (2002) and PhD in Immunology and Parasitology Applied by the Federal University of Uberlândia (2008). She is currently Associate Professor at the Federal University of Goiás – Campus Jataí, coordinator of the Parasitology Laboratory of the Department of Biomedicine. Accredited Professor in the Health Applied Sciences Postgraduate Program UFG/CAJ recently approved by CAPES. General Coordinator of the Goiás Southwestern Infectious and Parasitic Diseases Research Network (FAPEG-GO). Has experience in research in the areas of Parasitology and Immunology, acting on the following subjects: Human Helminthology with emphasis on parasitological and immunological diagnosis of strongyloidiasis, experimental infection, local and systemic immune response to Strongyloides venezuelensis, diagnosis of intestinal parasitoses.
