Biography : 

Paola Nisticò obtained her MD with honours (summa cum laude) from Sapienza University of Rome and completed her specialty training in Pathology at the University of Parma. She serves on the Teaching Committee of the PhD Program in Innovation in Immuno-Mediated and Hematological Disorders at Sapienza University and has mentored numerous PhD students and early-career scientists who now hold independent academic positions. She is President-Elect of the NIBIT and has secured competitive funding from European public and private agencies.
Dr. Nisticò has made pioneering mechanistic and translational contributions to cancer immunology, including T-cell biology, tumor plasticity, cancer associated fibroblasts (CAFs) and immune ecosystem dynamics, biomarker-driven immunotherapy.
