Biography : 

Dr. Manzar Abbas (Ph.D.), R&D Manager (2023-Cont) Inner Mongolia Saikexing Institute of Breeding and Reproductive Biotechnology in Domestic Animal, Hohhot, China. Former Assistant Professor (2020-2023), School of Agriculture, Forestry and Food Engineering, Yibin University, Yibin 644000, China. He completed his B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture (Agri-Biotechnology) and M.Phil. Biotechnology from University of Agriculture Faisalabad, Pakistan in 2012 and 2014, respectively. He completed his Ph.D. Genetics and Breeding by Molecular Design form Beijing Forestry University, Beijing, China. I am Dr. Manzar Abbas (Ph.D.) . A bonafide “Biotechnologist”, “Cell biologist” and “Microbiologist” with substantial and practical experience of robust genetic engineering techniques i.e., CRISPR/Cas9, Prime editing, RNAi, Overexpression, SRDX, Y2H, and CrY2H-seq. I have excellent skills of “mammalian cell 293T, and HEK293 genetic engineering”, “embryonic stem (ES) cell and induced pluripotent stem (iPSC) cell culturing and genetic engineering”, “yeast culture and genetic engineering”, “heterologous protein (hormones & enzymes) expression and purification”. He has excellent skills of heterologous expression of mammalian proteins in “Plant Chloroplast” to develop “Edible vaccines, enzymes, and hormones”. His research is published in peer reviewed journals including Tree Physiology, Frontiers in Plant Science, Frontiers in Veterinary Science, Frontiers in Genetics, BBA, Frontiers in Microbiology, Plos ONE, Journal of Forestry Research, Frontiers in Bioengineering and Biotechnology, Scientific Reports and Frontiers in Bioscience-Landmark.
