Dr. Donna Goldhawk (PhD Biochemistry; BSc Biochemistry & Biophysics) holds a Research Chair in Bacteria Imaging at the Lawson Research Institute in London, Ontario, Canada. Based within St. Joseph’s Health Care London, Goldhawk guides Molecular Imaging research and training within the Imaging Program. She is affiliated with Medical Biophysics at Western University and the Collaborative Graduate Program in Molecular Imaging. The Goldhawk lab is developing non-invasive methods to image bacteria, bacteriophage, and reporter gene expression using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and hybrid positron emission tomography (PET)/MRI. This inter-disciplinary science draws on bacterial models to develop imaging technology for pre/clinical translation.
