Hamid Marvi, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and Fulton Entrepreneurial Professor at Arizona State University. He leads the Biomimetic Robotics and Design Laboratory (BIRTH), where his research focuses on bio-inspired and soft robotics, developing robotic systems capable of locomotion in complex environments such as sand, soil, and confined spaces for applications in exploration, inspection, and search-and-rescue.
