Dr. Lu Chen is an Associate Professor in Tissue Engineering at Chongqing Medical University and a board-certified plastic surgeon at The First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University. Her research focuses on the translational application of functionalized nanobiomaterials in skin regeneration and anti-aging. By designing targeted nanoplatforms, she modulates the wound immune microenvironment, regulates cellular reprogramming, and investigates the underlying intracellular signaling and epigenetic mechanisms driving skin repair. Dr. Chen has published over 10 high-quality peer-reviewed papers in leading journals such as Bioactive Materials, Advanced Functional Materials and Chemical Engineering Journal, serving as co-first or corresponding author on most of these works. Her academic achievements have been recognized with numerous honors. She is dedicated to translating fundamental nanobiomaterial research into clinical therapeutic solutions for skin repair, scar management and aesthetic rejuvenation.
