Dr. Jerry A. Darsey is a Professor of Chemistry at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, an Adjunct Professor in Biopharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, and Director of the Center for Molecular Design and Development. He earned a B.S. in Physics and a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Louisiana State University. With around 150 published papers and over 300 conference presentations, Dr. Darsey’s work focuses on AI modeling of atomic and molecular systems, bioinformatics, and nanotechnology applications for hydrogen storage. He holds 11 U.S. patents and has secured over $3 million in research funding from NASA, NSF, DOE, and others.

Dr. Zhigang Yin is a professor at Chongqing University, specializing in materials science and engineering. His research focuses on advanced materials for energy storage, particularly in developing batteries and supercapacitors with enhanced efficiency and longevity. Dr. Yin has authored numerous publications in high-impact journals and is recognized for his contributions to sustainable energy solutions and innovations in energy storage technologies. His work supports advancements in clean energy applications and the development of next-generation power storage systems.

Dr. Yan Song is a researcher affiliated with the Shanxi Institute of Coal Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Her research primarily focuses on energy materials, carbon materials, and coal chemistry. Dr. Song has contributed significantly to advancements in coal conversion processes and the development of carbon-based materials for energy applications. She has published numerous research articles in prominent scientific journals, helping to drive innovation in sustainable energy and material science.

Dr. Alokesh Pramanik is a researcher and faculty member at Curtin University, known for his expertise in mechanical and manufacturing engineering. His research interests include advanced manufacturing processes, machining of composite materials, and materials engineering, with a focus on developing techniques for high-performance, sustainable manufacturing. Dr. Pramanik has published extensively in reputed journals, contributing significantly to the fields of composite material processing and tool wear analysis. His work is recognized for its impact on industrial applications and engineering innovations.

Dr. Viorel Chihaia (brainmap code U-1700-028N-9263) graduated the Physics Faculty of Bucharest University in 1989 and received the Ph.D. degree in chemistry in 1999 from the Institute of Physical Chemistry “Ilie Murgulescu” of Romanian Academy, Bucharest, Romania (IPC). Since October 1990 he has been employed at IPC, where he is currently a senior researcher 2. During this period he worked also abroad at several institutions: Keimyung University, Taegu, Korea (2000), Göttingen University, Germany (2001-2004), Institute of Atomic and Molecular Sciences, Academia Sinica, Taiwan (2010), Jülich Supercomputing Centre, Forschungszentrum Jülich, Germany (2011-2015). He has conducted (six) and participated to (eight) in national and international scientific projects.

Carlos Alberto Guerrero-Fajardo is a Senior Researcher and Professor at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Bogotá. He holds PhDs in Heterogeneous Catalytic Chemical Sciences from Louis Pasteur University (2008) and in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Colombia (2007). With over 42 years of teaching experience in Organic Chemistry, his research focuses on Materials Chemistry, Nanotechnology, and Petrochemistry. He has led numerous projects, including work on heterogeneous catalysis, biomass valorization, and graphene production, and has published extensively in national and international scientific journals.

Dr. Goh Boon Tong is currently an associate professor in the Department of Physics, University of Malaya. He obtained his PhD in 2012 with a thesis entitled, “Layer-by- Layer Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapour Deposition of Nanocrystalline Silicon Thin Films”. His research interest is mainly focused on the synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials such as one-dimensional (nanowires, nanotubes, and nanorods), two-dimensional (graphene and metal carbides), and metallic nanoparticles. He has obtained many prestigious awards either locally or international such as MASS 2001 Awards (The Best Thesis Awards for Final Year Project of Undergraduate Science) given by the MASS Malaysia, Excellence Award 2012 (for PhD Candidate with Highest Impact Publications in category of Sciences) given by the University of Malaya, the recipient of the Newton Advanced Fellowship 2016, the recipient of the AUA-UAEU Joint Research Grant, the Outstanding Researcher In Materials under the Science Discipline by the Venus International Foundation, and the 2020 Top Research Scientists Malaysia (TRSM) Award by the Academy of Sciences Malaysia. Up to date, he has published over 220 international refereed papers with total citations of 3, 093 (h-index = 29) according to Google Scholar and 150 refereed papers with total citations of 2, 385 (h-index = 25) according to Publons Web of Science.

In a recent study, silver (Ag) and iron (Fe) nanoparticles were synthesized and characterized using moss extract. Both biogenic (without heating) and chemically synthesized nanoparticles were obtained following the Bayat et al. method, which utilizes phytochemical bioactives. UV-visible spectroscopy confirmed the successful formation of Ag and Fe nanoparticles, with biogenic AgNPs showing a maximum absorption peak at 420 nm, and chemically synthesized AgNPs at 425 nm. Interestingly, FeNPs displayed a significant difference: biogenic FeNPs had a peak at 272 nm, while chemical FeNPs had a peak at 350 nm. While all AgNPs exhibited strong antibacterial activity, the FeNPs did not. The study concluded that the biogenic method without heating is the most environmentally safe and effective for nanoparticle synthesis

Dr. José L. Endrino holds MSc and bachelor’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from San Diego State University and a Ph.D. from the University of New Hampshire. His career spans aerospace R&D, tool coatings at Oerlikon Balzers, and a Marie Curie Fellowship at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. He has led major research initiatives at Cranfield University and currently serves as Innovation Manager at Nano4Energy and Research Professor at Universidad Loyola. Dr. Endrino has published over 100 papers, holds 39 patents, and has developed several surface engineering technologies.osé Luis Endrino is an accomplished professional in [field or area of expertise], currently affiliated with Universidad Loyola. Dr. Mudasser Husain specializes in the first-principles computational investigations and explorings of the structural, optical, electronic, mechanical, magnetic, thermoelectrics, thermodynamics, and phononic properties of various binary and ternary alloy compounds. I am currently working on perovskites, Double perovskites, Half and Full-Heuslers, Ferrites, Chalcogenides, chalcopyrites, and intermetallics materials. I am looking for research collaborations in the fore-mentioned research areas.

Dr. Md Abdul Majed Patwary is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Comilla University. He earned his B.Sc. and M.S. degrees from the University of Chittagong in 2006 and 2007, respectively. Dr. Patwary was a National Science and ICT fellow in Bangladesh and joined Comilla University as a lecturer in 2011, advancing to Assistant Professor in 2015. He completed his Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Saga University, Japan, as a MEXT Scholar. His research focuses on thin films for photovoltaic and optoelectronic devices, as well as energy production from waste materials. Dr. Patwary is a member of several professional societies, including the American Chemical Society and the Japanese Society of Applied Physics, and has published 18 journal articles and presented at 20 conferences.

Wei Tian is a full professor at Northwestern Polytechnical University, where he has been since 2014. He completed his Ph.D. in 2009 and conducted postdoctoral research in polymer chemistry at the same institution. His research focuses on supramolecular hyperbranched polymers and macromolecular self-assembly. Before becoming a professor, he worked as a research associate at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

Xiaosheng Fang leads a young, energetic, and innovative research team at Fudan University, focusing on the magical world of nanotechnology. His team warmly welcomes young students to join and explore this exciting field. The group also invites doctors and teachers in related fields for postdoctoral research and visiting scholar cooperation and exchange. Under Xiaosheng Fang’s leadership, the research group has established long-term collaborative relationships with many research teams in the United States, Japan, Australia, Singapore, and other countries. Students have opportunities for cooperative research, joint training, and further study abroad based on actual conditions.

Dr. Sathish Sundar Dhilip Kumar is a researcher and senior lecturer at the Laser Research Centre, Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Johannesburg. He holds a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Anna University, India, and has extensive experience in nanotechnology, particularly in nanoparticle-based drug delivery systems for photodynamic and photobiomodulation therapies. Dr. Dhilip Kumar has authored over 25 peer-reviewed articles and has received numerous accolades, including recognition for his contributions to research and academic citizenship at UJ. He is also a certified Professional Natural Scientist and a member of the Royal Society of Biology, UK​ (African Scientists Directory)​​ (University of Johannesburg)​​ (University of Johannesburg)​.

Dr. Sivakumar Singaravelu is an accomplished Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Laser Research Centre, Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Johannesburg, South Africa, where he collaborates with Dr. Sathish Sundar Dhilip Kumar and Prof. Heidi Abrahamse. His current research focuses on the preparation of biomaterials for diabetic wound healing applications. Dr. Singaravelu has an impressive background, having previously worked at Pohang University of Science and Technology in South Korea and the Indian Institute of Technology- Madras as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow. He also served as a senior scientist in formulation and R&D at Synerheal Pharmaceutical Company in Chennai, India. He earned his doctorate from the University of Madras and CSIR-Central Leather Research Institute. His academic journey also includes a Master of Technology in Biotechnology and a Bachelor of Technology in Industrial Biotechnology from Sathyabama University and Government College of Technology, Chennai and Coimbatore, India. Dr. Singaravelu’s primary research interests lie in the preparation and application of medical devices in animal models to prove their efficacy. He is currently applying photobiomodulation in medical devices for cell line and molecular studies. Additionally, he is a certified FELASA (Federation of European Laboratory Animal Science Associations) scholar for animal model handling. His work extends to applied nanotechnology, specifically in nano-drug delivery systems, using gold nanomaterials for targeted drug delivery to overcome drug resistance in wound healing. He has published 21 international peer revied research articles and 2 book chapter.

E. Dahbani is affiliated with Cadi Ayyad University in Morocco. Specializing in materials science and engineering, Dahbani’s research focuses on the development and characterization of advanced materials. With contributions to both academic research and practical applications, Dahbani plays an important role in the scientific community at Cadi Ayyad University.

Dr. Mostafa El-Shafie is a researcher specializing in hydrogen production technologies and renewable energy systems. He has been affiliated with the Environmental and Renewable Energy Systems Division at Gifu University and has contributed significantly to the study of hydrogen energy, particularly focusing on the synthesis and decomposition processes of ammonia as a hydrogen carrier. Dr. El-Shafie’s work includes exploring plasma and catalytic processes for hydrogen production, with an emphasis on optimizing these systems for practical applications. Dr. Eng-Poh Ng is an Associate Professor at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). He specializes in nanomaterials, catalysis, and the study of kinetics and mechanisms of reactions. Dr. Ng earned his BSc with first-class honors in industrial chemistry and his MSc in chemistry from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. He completed his PhD at the University of Upper Alsace in France under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Svetlana Mintova in 2009.

Dr. Ng’s research primarily focuses on the synthesis, characterization, and application of microporous and mesoporous silica-based materials, particularly in catalysis. He has published over 70 peer-reviewed papers and has an H-index of 20, reflecting his significant contributions to the field.
