Biography:

Dr. Jesús Alonso Amezcua López holds a degree in Food Engineering and Biotechnology and a PhD in Biotechnological Processes from the University of Guadalajara, Mexico. He is a member of Mexico’s National System of Researchers (SNII) and works as a lecturer and researcher at the University of Guadalajara and Centro Universitario UTEG. His research focuses on paediatric nutrition, human milk preservation, probiotic development, and biotechnology applied to paediatric infections and antimicrobial resistance. He has delivered presentations at international conferences and received the 2025 Best Researcher Award in Biotechnology in Mumbai, India.
