Dr. Muhammad Aslam is an Assistant Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, College of Architecture and Energy Engineering, Wenzhou University of Technology, Wenzhou, Zhejiang, China. He received his doctoral degree in Structural Engineering & Materials from the University of Malaya, Malaysia. He is a lifetime registered professional engineer “RE” with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), and has more than decade of professional teaching and research experience.

Dr. Aslam’s research focuses on concrete technology, structural strengthening, sustainable construction materials, and advanced composites. He has published nearly 45 scientific papers, with over 1,500 citations and an h-index of 16, reflecting the quality and influence of his work. His contributions include studies on compressive strength, self-healing materials, lightweight concrete using waste by-products, and the rehabilitation of structural elements using prestressed fiber-reinforced polymers (FRPs) for reinforced concrete and timber structures. He has also worked on shell structures, tubular steel structures, and bearing capacity, broadening his expertise within structural engineering.

Through his interdisciplinary collaborations, Dr. Aslam has advanced knowledge in sustainable construction, structural rehabilitation, and high-performance building materials. His research aligns with global trends in sustainability and energy efficiency, contributing to both academic advancements and practical engineering applications.
