Dr. Uthumporn Utra is an Associate Professor at the School of Industrial Technology, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), with expertise in Food Science and Food biopolymer. Her research focuses on the development of sustainable and health-promoting food products through the utilisation of local resources and novel processing technologies.
She has actively contributed to the advancement of food technology through numerous research publications, academic collaborations, student supervision, and community engagement activities. As Deputy Dean, Dr. Uthumporn also plays a leadership role in academic planning, career development, and internationalisation initiatives at the faculty level.
