Dr. Joseph Kwabina Arhinful Johnson holds a PhD in Mathematical Statistics and has over 16 years of teaching and research experience in statistics and data analysis. At Takoradi Technical University, he teaches courses in statistical methods, research methodology, stochastic processes, and applied statistics, with a focus on integrating tools such as R and SPSS into research training.
His research applies statistical methods to environmental and public health challenges, including epidemiology and large-scale survey data. He has contributed to national projects such as Ghana’s 2020 Population and Housing Census and has published widely. His recent publication, “Basin-scale spatial structure of amino acid racemisation in Caribbean-Atlantic marine sediments,” applies statistical modeling to understand geochemical processes in marine environments.
Dr. Johnson also serves as Vice Dean of the School of Graduate Studies, where he promotes data literacy and research capacity building.
