Jin-Ming Lin is a professor at the Department of Chemistry, Tsinghua University. He was selected into the “Hundred Talents Program” of the Chinese Academy of Sciences at 2001, and received the Outstanding Young Scholars Fund from the National Science Foundation at the same year. In 2008, he was selected as CheungKung Scholar Distinguished Professor of the Ministry of Education, China. He is a fellow of the Chinese Chemical Society and a fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry. Prof. Lin has received about 30 academic awards for his contributions in microfluidics, chemiluminescence and separation science. He is the author or co-author of more than 600 original research papers published in international journals, 45 reviews, 8 books and 50 invention patents. His current research is focused on cell culture and analysis on microfluidics. He is the president of the Microfluidic System Branch of the Chinese Biophysical Society, the deputy director of the Committee of Analytical Chemistry of the Chinese Chemical Society, the vice chairman of the Micro-nano Fluidics Technology Branch in Chinese Micro and Nanotechnology Society, the executive director of the Chinese Association of Analysis and Testing, the Chief in Editor of Chemosensors, contributing editor of Trends in Analytical Chemistry, and Associate Editors of J. Pharm. Anal., Chinese Chemical Letters.
