Renowned for his innovative work in advanced materials development and applications, he has received numerous awards, including recognition as a top 2% scientist globally since 2022 and more recently as the recipient of the Professional Engineer of the Year 2025 (International) by Engineers Australia. He is a Fellow of the World Academy of Sciences, the Academy of Science Malaysia, the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (UK), and the Institution of Engineers Australia, the Institution of Engineers Malaysia, and is a registered professional and chartered engineer in Malaysia, UK, and Australia.
